Summer Half Term Newsletter
Letter from the Headteacher
As we approach the Summer half term, our older pupils and subject staff are working hard to ensure coursework is completed for external exams.
This term is always one of the busiest times of the year and a list of important dates are attached for your information.
The school is recovering from its successful Ofsted inspection, but attendance across both sites was highlighted for improvement. As a result of this, I am working closely with the EWO (Education Welfare Officer) who will be making home visits as outlined below.
The school issued 15 fixed penalty £50 notices last term.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support for the school.
Have a good half term holiday.
Best wishes.

and 3rd in the RSPCA art competition.
First prize went to George and Third prize went to Daniel.
Well done to both pupils!
School Trips – South Site
S2 have had a wonderful half term. They have worked very hard on their English text level work, based on Charlotte’s Web. To complement this they have been on a trip to Stockley Farm to see just how hard farm life really is!
They have also been learning about Victorian children and S2 thought Miss Fenney was strict until they had a day out at Northwich Salt Museum! Miss Fenney was nothing compared to the workhouse master.
During April, S2 took part in a residential trip to Barstondale, Wirral. All children took part in activities such as abseiling, night walking, archery and rock climbing. Miss Fenney is now looking forward to a restful half term.
