Summer Term Newsletter

Message from the Headteacher

This will be the last time that I write to you as Headteacher of Bank View High School North and South.  Mr Ashley has been appointed as the new Headteacher of the South Site/Ashfield and takes up post in September 2009.  I will once again become the headteacher of the single site school in the North, which will be known in the future as Bank View.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the South Site over the past three years and look back with pride at the many achievements of the pupils and staff, not least the good/outstanding Ofsted inspection.  I would like to take this opportunity of wishing all pupils and staff well for the future and thank parents and carers for their excellent support.

In September I will be asking the parents of Bank View to express their views on the school’s development via a parent satisfaction questionnaire, which I would encourage you to complete.

May I wish all pupils, parents and staff an enjoyable summer break.
