Half term Newsletter - February 2009

Letter from the Headteacher

Half term already!  Bank View has had the usual busy start to the Spring term with staff and pupils working together to ensure coursework is completed.

Attendance has started to creep back up and I would like to thank you for your continued support.  However, we still have some way to go before we react our whole school target of 90% which could easily be achieved if appointments were made out of school time and holidays were taken during the set school holiday periods.

The school is thriving with the positives far outweighing the negatives.  This is the result of good teamwork – thank you to all.

Best wishes.

I WRIGHT

please let the school office know immediately.  There have been a number of incidents when it has not been possible to contact a parent when their child has been unwell, due to us not having up to date phone numbers.
