Accessibility Statement

Bank View High School is dedicated to enabling all members of its community to develop fully as learners and citizens.

Bank View High School is committed to providing an inclusive environment in which all members of the community gain confidence and achieve their potential.

The school has regular accessibility audits carried out by the LA and governors to ensure all aspects of school life are inclusive. The Accessibility Action Plan was reviewed in April 2009. The school has gained Dyslexia Friendly status.

The school actively  accommodates a variety of student needs e.g. lift system over 3 steps, ramps where appropriate,  visually impaired ICT support, IEPs (Individual Education Support) for all its pupils in order to access the curriculum.

The school’s SEN, Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies should be read in conjunction with this statement.
